While this song was written with a particular story in mind I have a new application. Listen carefully to the chorus. Sometimes we want certain results from prayers. However Heavenly father knows what is best for us. We see it as him not answering us but he knows whats best. When we have a loved one that is sick and we pray that that person can be healed and remain with us longer. Well what if that person was in so much more pain and misery being her in this life then in the next. Sometimes we need to just stop and thank God for unanswered prayers. When in disguise it is truely a blessing. I know things happen the way they do for a reason. It is in the plan for them to happen that way. Its not always wasy or fair to us but its part the plan. But I do know unanswered prayers are sometimes the answers we do need!
